In that case, you first have to find out the mass in grams or ounces. Next, you will have to find the molar mass for each element or compound from the Mendeleev periodic table. Then you will calculate the molar number by dividing the mass to the **molar mass**. Now that you have the molar number for each element, you can calculate the total molar number of the resulting compound. And then to calculate the molar percentage, you need to multiply the molar number of your substance by 100 and then divide by the total molar number.It is very important to be able to calculate the mass percentage of a substance to be able to do even the most basic chemical experiments. However, it is a simple percentage calculation and you should not be intimidated by the fact that it refers to chemical substances.
